In 1976, Mom made her way as a single mother from the east to west coast with her two kidlets. She pulled up to the Napa Valley in her baby blue Volkswagen Bus and decided it was the perfect place to raise her family.
Inspired by her desire to feed her children healthy, homemade foods, Mom sought out the finest wholesome ingredients available in California. She soon created her own recipes from scratch that combined pure foods with delightful flavors.
Mom’s kids always had their favorite recipe – “Mom’s Granola” as they called it. Years later, with the kids grown and living in New York City, Mom’s granola became the prize of her care packages sent eastward. They shared the granola with their friends, which resulted in a long waiting list for the next package.
